RunActive Leigh-on-Sea is an independent running shop for runners from Leigh, Southend and across Essex. We focus on one thing: getting you into a running shoe that suits how you actually run.

Gait analysis & shoe fitting
Fitted to how you run, not just your foot size
Sizing a shoe by foot length only gets you so far. In a RunActive fitting you run on our treadmill while we watch how your feet and legs actually move. You leave the same visit with a shortlist of shoes picked for your goals and your running style, not whichever is easiest to sell.

What runners say about RunActive
"Possibly the best trainer shop around. Linda measured me up and helped me find the best possible shoe for me, asking multiple questions that were really considerate. I ran on a treadmill and she instantly knew that my foot was edging in. She suggested shoes which fixed my running form, and we tried on trainers while she asked my opinion on each to find the best shoe. Thanks for the amazing experience!"
"If you are thinking of running either professionally or just for fun, this is the place to go first. They give great advice and get you walking and running on the in-store treadmill to look at your posture and gait. The excellent staff show you your results on an iPad and recommend the running shoe that's perfect for you. If it's not in stock it can be ordered within a few days. An excellent range with a very personal service. Thanks for helping us on our running journey."
